Hi does anyone know where can I buy a TD5 speedometer

Since a "Td5" is essentially an engine, it would be helpful to know exactly what kind of vehicle you need a speedometer for.

I have a 1993 defender v8 but I want to convert it to the defender td5 speedometer 1998-2007 ?

Ebay usually has a fair selection, just be wary of OTT prices and ask what mileage is on them to get one close to where you need to be.

Edit: Hmm looks like someone has bought them all up!

yes, I can't seem to find any

If you put in td5 clocks there's 1 comes up full set of clocks in the binicle with the loom £150 can always resell the stuff you don't want the looms normally sell for £30-40 .

That's a good price think I paid £100 just for a speedo when I convereted mine .

Yes not to bad I'd never messed with electrics before and I managed it, a chap who comes on here and Retroanaconda did a write up link below

thanks for your help, do you think it would work on my 3.5 v8 ?

I would imagine so perhaps I think the clocks and warning light panel are universal if you read that write up were it tells you what pins do what in the 2 plugs 1 pin does cold start on petrol models and another pin does glow plugs for diesels. Perhaps drop retroanaconda who did the write up a pm and ask if he can help.

Should work fine on a V8, obviously the glow plug bit is not needed but the rest should be more or less the same.
