Think it moves away from the actuator, it’s quite difficult to move by hand if I remember rightly. Be gentle with it they’re quite delicate inside

So unless I've misunderstood something, JUST a bigger intercooler will have what effect? the current power reached more easily? more of the fuel burned? less smoke?

Lol don’t think anyone thinks that!! Intercooler on its own apparently does very little with out a fuel map to take advantage of it.

Yes, sorry I meant it will probably not have much noticeable improvement in terms of driving.
I wonder if @Discodevon is still smiling? Seriously thinking about the Storm remap....
