td5 hoses

hi all bin recommended that i change the rubber hoses from the intercooler to the turbo as they seem soft n squidgy and im having a few running issues with the car. befor i fork out £100 is there any way of checkin that they are duff?? im bit confussed as to what is meant by delaminted hoses? the car chug's rattles n puffs out black smoke and acts like its going to stall. cheers

delaminated hoses is exactly what it sounds like. Imagine a hose within a hose, bonded together and the bond failing.

Hoses that are made like this are designed to have structural rigidity without losing flexability

dont know if their any good, but fleabay do silicone ones for about £45ish

Fitted ebay silicone hoses to mine to eliminate a possible leak seemed fine to me well shaped.
