td5 having a play

ive only had my td5 about 4 weeks and i decided to take it to a local pay and play day.
i was out numbered by pajeros, but i never needed a tow.

bumper and tow bar took a bit of a beating but i just drove round all day in high range and drive.

what a great bit of kit.

would have been a lot more controllable in low box

+1 on low box

I can see momentum being needed here and there, but low box will give the TC more of a chance to work a little better surely?

Another plus one, get it in low box and don't brake on a decent. Let the enjun do the work.

On decent use say 1st or 2nd low, on incline use say 2nd low, if you need a run-up or a bit of speed used 2nd or 3rd low.
Difflock is worth while if you want a better chance of doing a section it 1st time.
