Hi all
Sorry I'm not getting on here at the moment but I'm not really getting much free time at the minute.
Having finally got around to fitting a disco transfer box to my 110 back in April and finally changing the input gear a couple of weeks back for one which has the pto drive teeth I am now back in a position to get the winch up and running. I've seen td5 winches that have a 2 piece shaft (one long shaft and one really short sliding one) and ones with a three piece shaft (one long, one short and a long sliding joint).
Does anyone have or is anyone able to take pics of their shaft routing and how much clearance they have. I know it's meant to be close but there is a big difference between close and rubbing.
I have the front support bracket already in situ from when it was factory fitted but no matter which way I try and run the shafts from that bracket it is contacting with something.
I believe mine was originally fitted with the one long shaft behind the front support bracket but would love to see some pics to help verify it.
Cheers all.
