TD5 EGR blanking effect on performance - I feel it

Risking to overload this forum with my topics on EGR blanking, I would still like to say that after having it done, I can feel the car revs higher. Also having installed a straight through exhaust pipe, much less black smoke is coming out of the exhaust (the carbon deposits in the muffler were being blown out, I guess).

So all in all I'm very happy with this job and hope it won't cause any CO testing problems at the MOT. I'm not worried about them physically noticing the differences, as I live in Estonia and Defenders are more of a rarity here.
