But it did have a round hole that I put me towing socket in.

Now that i've confused everyone with a picture of a TD5 cross member (Lesson learned), i now have a dilemma.
I do need to replace the rear cross member, with either one with extensions or a 1/4 chassis (including suspension mounts). The dilemma is i want to keep the socket hole, probably will never use it, but i want to keep it looking original. All of the up to TD5 cross members do not have the hole.
So do i have any other options other than the following;
1) Fit a cross member without the hole
2) Fit a TD5 cross member which defeats the object of originality
3) Spend more and get one made
