I have a 2001 defender 110 CSW not fitted with central locking but looking to fit after market system. Can they be wired in to the factory fitted alarm immobiliser my alarm ECU has been replaced recently from YWC 106270 to YWC500660.
I would like to be able to lock and open the 4 doors using the factory alarm remote.
Any assistance would be welcomed.

Yes it can be done. If using the non central locking alarm unit you can still do using a couple of relays soldered to the board. I bought a central locking kit a while back and posted how to do it but as yet haven't got around to it myself. You might need to search a bit but it should be on here somewhere.

Ratty, Thank you but I am unable to open the link on your previous thread.

Sadly, that website has been gone for a while :(

The article on central locking was very good; so, when I first saw it, I 'dumped' it into a Word document.

If you PM me your email address, I'll send you a copy of it.
