Make sure you have got the sealing ring on the fuel pump spot on or use a new one, the bloke at the landrover indy i got my parts from said summat to do with pressurised system. I reused mine and all ok. One thing mine did before having orings and washer done ws when trying to start it I went through purge cycle 3-4 times and seemed to draw more and more air into the system, making it take longer to start.

Have you had the injectors themselves tested?
And did you put them back in the right order?
32 NM sounds right, more than that and it's a screw extractor job when they snap off.
Did you make sure only one washer on fuel filter? I didn't 1st time round!
Did you purge it ok? 5 blips of throttle before starting for 1st time, let engine light go out after bout 5 mins? Then start.

Phew.

Mines more complicated than a woman, even less reliable, but more loved, i reckon!

Yes tested injectors via nanocom and all read ok beofre i started this whole oring and washer replacement project.

Back in the same ordered and checked codes against ecu. As said ran fine for about 20 miles.

I did the full purge both the blip 5 times one wiated for ages until ligfht stopped flashing and the bury the thorttle and crank for 30 seconds one.

Only other things i can think of are either fuel pressure regulator or small o rings on the lines back into the pump. The landy indy i got my parts from told me to check them. Apparently they can be pushed out of alignment when disconnecting / connecting.

Is the pump still noisy and displaying exactly the same symptoms?

Pump was quiet again beogre i broke down, i think that one of the new washes may have been bent slightly when it went back in, so going to repalce that again.

Had new FPR in Jan and down all the seals on the fuel filter housing and the 2 internal valves.

yeah, not much chance of them being dislodged but that's what the indy told me. unless he was talking the job up so i would book it in... washer sounds most likely if it went in bent though. i couldn't see anything wrong with the ones (that were causing my issues) when i removed them but then again, i don't have a microscope!
