Td5 brake <abs> problem?

Hi i am wondering if any body can help me i have a td5 disco auto and when i get in it the rear brakes feel like there on and the abs light is on i have not long had the car and the last owner coloured the abs light in with black marker so i have only just found this out but rear brakes feel like there draging what can i do to sort these problems out any help please :)
 
Is It just the ABS light or the Hill decent and Traction control warning lights too?

Blanking out the warning light was bad and safety issue.

Jack up the rear and spin each wheel in turn and compare the resistance, better still take the wheels off and have a look at the calipers and pads look for any burning/overheating
Other than that it's a trip to the computer for a check on the abs sensors.:)
