Hi thanks for replying, I have a 300 defender chassis which is galvanised. What sort of adjustments need to be made. I'm planning to fit the 2.8 tdi engine also
Not an answer to your original post I know, but I am contemplating swapping a disco chassis for the one on my 110..My disco and 110 we're gotten off a farmer friend who kept them in a chicken shed for 12 years. the chassis on the 110 needs replacing but I fancy bining the body of the disco and tailoring the pickup body onto the disco chassis..
All I can fathom is this would need a modification of the outriggers/body mountings..and taking 10 inches off the front of the rear tub. Any tips would be great as none of mine run at the minute and I'm dying to get off road..!! I feel the above would be easier and cheaper than a new chassis on the 110
