Ive had some ongoing issues with the 110 since September.

It appears to have some excessive blow by, its blowing quite heavily from the crank breather and most concerning from the dipstick now.

At the time of video it was fully warmed up after a 30minute drive.

Also now getting fairly heavy white smoke on start up in the mornings, it does generally clear after a mile or two but sometimes stays for a while.

Ive also noticed on occasion it its running on 4cyl, then kicks back in 5.

It is also using coolant, not a lot but I have noticed it dropping in the head tank over the past few months. Not leaking out of the top, no coolant leaks.

Heater is hot, no bubbling or gurgling from the header tank.
No creamy substance on the oil cap.
Oil cap doesnt fire off if left upside down on the fill hole

Can sometimes be hard to start

Replaced as part of other ongoing issues -
Injector seals - genuine LR
Fuel pump - gen LR
Fuel filter - Mahle
Fuel filer housing - GORE
injector harness - Britpart G rated
No oil in ECU plug
Original injectors - 167k
Oil changed every 6k with 10w40
EGR blanked 80k ago
Nissens radiator 70k ago
Coolant replaced 20k ago with correct Red OAT

Im thinking I need a compression test and Im also thinking the piston rings are going or the heads going or both

Anyone got any other suggestions?

Sounds like rings to me, had the same on a few spitty's after a while they squirt oil out of dipstick, but first sign was chuffing exhaust, through dipstick

Also You checked yer LLN100140L DCV, ( le black mushroom) is working ok?
IE no dancing oil filler cap on idle? should be like the vid below

Compression test, then based on results, replace the head gasket.
Has it only done 167k miles?
I did my rebuild at around 200k miles and the bores had no wear at all, checked the bores with a micrometer.
After cleaning the pistons and rings, I reused everything, except No.1 which had the melted piston.
If you do remove the head, check the injector pockets very carefully for cracks, especially No.1.
