TD5 1999 rocker gasket

I am replacing my rocker gasket as it has the usual leak to the rear. Is there a particular brand I should be avoiding or looking to use?.

I only ask as I have read the thread on service kits and on recommendation have bought the Mahle kit so assuming the rocker gaskets have a preferred choice to fit as well.

Ps It's a 1999 v reg Disco TD5.

Don't know about which make to use, but when you do replace it check that the "half-moon" seal at the back end of the head is replaced and properly in place at the same time.

I have replaced the rocker gasket on a couple of TD5's and I would only ever use Genuine LR parts again if I fitted another one. In my experience, the cheaper ones leaked on 2 occasions....
Use a little sealant to hold the gasket in place whilst putting it back in place to hold it to the rocker cover. All on www.discovery2.co.uk.
