Hello guys. I just bought one more Freelander, it's TD4, 130.000 km mileage. I bought it with clutch problem, now replaced main clutch cylinder and it's cured.
But i see another, bigger problem. A lot of grey smoke (unburned fuel) when pressing accelerator or just after higher revs. Today replaced couple of vacuum hoses (to turbo solenoid and to EGR solenoid). Small hoses from solenoids to turbo and EGR looks good. Intercooler hoses (hoses looks ok, without cracks) getting harder only from 2500 revs.
Here is video how turbo actuaror works, son pressed accelerator up to 3500 revs:
Any comments?
I'm new in diesel engines.
