Since we bought the hippo 2 years ago - 2003 model, the sunroof hasn't worked. This hasn't bothered us so far, but now we plan to sell it, I have had a look at it. The electrics seem to be working as they should, I took the motor off and that turns okay. There is no movement of the roof at all, as though someting has seized up. I have tried turning the motor with a screwdriver in the slot as well to give more force. Is it possilbe to lubricate any of the mechanism with the roof in situ? Any ideas?
