TD4 starting

Right ,it seems that the diagnosis has come up with low fuel pressure but once started pressure is normal , a new pump maybe ?
LP pump pressure can be checked on the live data. But if you can hear it running, it's not the primary starting issue. The HPFR regulator O ring is the most likely cause.

Diesel engines are potentially less likely to become addicted to Easy Start than a petrol engine. Some say it could potentially cause long term issues if used a lot.
I'm not convinced that Easy Start causes any real damage, but that is subject for another thread.

That's the first port of call for a tenner... but beyond that @Nodge68 could it be the HPFR itself? That could be costly or the fuel pressure sensor???

A faulty rail sensor or wiring problems normally shows up while the engine is running. Nothing is out of the question though as it's a BMW unit. Definitely worth changing the regulator O ring first though.
