td4 problems

just got my self a 03 td4 the first problem i found was ...

rear lower left light was out so but brake light still works, so changed the bulb and this is still happening, after tested im pretty sure its the wire, the right hand side and middle light work fine. ant ideas?

2nd problem iv found is there is a diesel leak coming from the rear right area, seems to be a pump or filter there, any one else had these problems and able to help

Yep that's your low pressure fuel pump. Under the right rear arch area where it comes out of the tank. Probably a loose fitting or split in the pipe.

Is the lower left one you are on about the side light or the break light itself. I assume you are on about an 03 pre facelift rather than a 53 facelift. If this is the case, the loom for that cluster joins in at the right hand side rear quarter panel, near the bottom hinge of the rear door. There will be a larger connection for the towing electrics and a smaller one for the lower bumper clusters. I suggest you try and trace it from there.

All sorted now lads cheers. Was a dodgy wire some where and leak was fuel filter had hole is because was rubbing on earth cable or summit
