Hi. I am new to this but I have a 2007 freelander td4 with 150000 on the clock. It is a late reg freelander 1. The problem I have is that when you start the enging it will tick over ok with no problem but when you try to drive it when it gets to around 2000 rpm it's like it suddenly wants to cut out. Sometimes it will pick up again but it starts throwing out loads if white smoke which stinks strong of neat diesel. The engine management light comes on but if you turn it off and restart it the light goes out and it all starts again. My mate came up with a computer and the code on the Ecu is fuel fail pressure sensor. I have changed this along with the wire from the Ecu to this sensor but the problem is still the same. The injectors are all less than 12 months old and I've even done a spill off test just to check these are ok. There all still fine. The maf sensor is ok as if I disconnect it, it makes no change. It has a new boost control solenoid valve. And all turbo pipes are ok. I hope some can help me with this as its starting to p*** me off. Other than this problem it's been a great car.
