Hi Chaps,

I recentely replaced the turbo in the gaylander, have done the usuals, intercooler, hoses, oil/filter change, replaced the filter element in the crankcase breather assy but still i got smoke... starts ticks over a treat will tick over have throttle held at 3k no smoke..jump in it drive for a mile and im getting smoke light bluey grey smoke smells like burning engine oil to me. Im begining to wonder if i have damage to bores??? but it runs sweet as a nut...even though i have replaced the filter element on the breather, is there something else that could pressurise the crankcase and force oil through the turbo seals?

I read about the bmw upgrade for the breather assy but seeing how my filter is new and the depression valve seems free if i could have a blockage before the breather assy itself?

I have no oil/water swappage, power seems ok it has an egr bypass already and only issue is smoke? im going to have a compression test dont next week as i have it in my head the bores may be compromised? but itll sit ticking over having throttle blipped and im getting nothing so i dunno.....

Let me have yer thoughts guys.........:confused2:

Seems i`m not the only one with the same prob.Sorry cant help but i know there has got to be someone in ether land please please please.
