TD4 Auto F4 fault

Recent fault with 2003 freelander, i was getting the EML light on for a few seconds every few miles and the car would sometimes stall when trying to pull away, sometimes several times in a row, but drove fine once moving. I disconnected the maf and the stalling has stopped, but now i occasionally have a f4 fault, once it lost power the other few times it hasn't. Are these linked or 2 seperate faults? Your thoughts are appreciated

Sounds like a possible fault on the CAN. Check all the connections at the EDC, TCM, ABS and Ipack to start with.

please explain the letter codes above for me (sorry for not knowing if they are obvious)

Sorry for the late reply, checked all connections and ok so used your YouTube video (proper job) have no resistance on the 2-4 solenoid, after advice on best place to buy a replacement solenoid ta
