I am trying to replace the gas tank cradle on my V6 and it seems the center exhaust is in the way.
How do I remove the front of the center exhaust? There are two pipes at the front. There is a joint that requires a gasket, that one looks like it will be a "simple but long " hacksaw job, but the other front pipe is a lap joint and I am scratching my head on how to remove such an old and rusty piece without breaking it. Do I try to rotate?
I have my setup on ramps and then I jack the rear sub frame unto axle stands and the undo the 4 bolts of the rear subframe but I still cannot clear the exhaust even after removing the center exhaust from its rubber support and the rear muffler from its rubber support.
I have the gas tank held by ratchet straps so I can just change the cradle.
