tall person problems

I am desperately trying to run a land rover series as a daily, I'm 6 foot 3 and the hand brake and my calf are not friends, has anyone moved or modified the hand brake to make life easier?

You can modify a defender hand brake which is shorter.

You must be sitting funny or have funny shaped legs because i'm 6ft 4ish and heavy built and i find no problems with the hand brake. My leg rests up against it but it aint uncomfortable
 
Easiest thing is to raise the seat a bit to give more leg room so that legs don't have to go out sideways towards the handbrake - just an inch or two makes an amazing amount of difference - plus I also fitted a slightly smaller steering wheel from an austin Maestro to give a bit more leg clearance - works a treat for me
