Tailgate window motor

Hi All,

I had a problem with a snapped cable on the tailgate regulator, new cables refitted ok.

Only problem now is that the plastic feed tube on the motor got damaged (the plastic bit that the metal cover screws on to) so ideally need a new motor or just the plastic casing part of the motor before I refit the regulator.

Is this possible? Can I just get a burnt out motor and take the plastic casing from it?

Any help appreciated...

I got a repair kit but it failed straight away so said sod it and got this;

All in one, rip out the old and in with the new. Works great.

Hmm, may have to just bite the bullet - will try replacement motor first, managed to get one off the 'bay...

Managed to repair my tailgate window regulator with £7.35 cable kit off ebay. A miracle! Had to try several time to do calibration, worked with engine running
