After all the rain we have had recently I was shocked to find a bit of a swimming pool in my boot.
People seem to almost universally point to the upper tailgate rubber seal.
Looked on Rimmer Bros. and the darned thing is nearly £150.
I am gob-smacked.
However.... before I go and spend such a ridiculous amount of money I think I shall sit inside the vehicle while someone plays a hose set on "rain-water" setting all over the rear of the vehicle and see if I can spot the method by which the water is getting in there.
Alternatively, I might be tempted to drill a blooming hole in the lowest point in the wheel-well that I can find and let gravity sort it out for me.
What's the usual MO approach out there?
