Tailgate replacement?

Did a search but could not see an answer to this so......

Apart from undoing a few bolts, does anyone know if there would be any problems with replacing a like for like rear (tailgate) door? I am presuming the electrics just unplug. It's a 3 door and I am not worried about changing the barrel for the key.

Also wondering if the pre facelift and facelift are the same. I am presuming the 5 door version wont fit? It will help with the search for a new one.

Yep bolt and go it is quite easy just fiddly to put all the stuff in. Go for it. You will feel great once you have completed it.

Realise now that the facelift and pre are obviously different
Will put this in the parts wanted section, but I am looking for one that has the regulator in although don't mind changing the handle, spare wheel carrier and glass.

Trim is different but I think the actual metal work is the same on pre and post face lift.
