Tail door problem

Hi guys, this is my first post and I am afraid I am after some advice.

The tail door window regulator wire has snapped, I have been quoted 300.00 pound by Land Rover to supply the part which I feel is a bit expensive.
Is it repairable? Can anybody point me in the right direction to get a second hand one? I have tried all the usual places and searched the internent high and low but no joy.

I realise this is too late for you but if any one else reading this has this problem; I am able to replace snapped cables to the original specification.

This is done either on an exchange basis where you send your broken unit (including all those little bits laying in the bottom of the door) and I send you a re-cabled unit - or if you would prefer your original unit back and can wait an extra day or two for the post, send your broken regulator assembly to me and I will repair and return within 1 working day.

Removal and replacement of the regulator assembly from the tailgate is very straight forward requiring only a couple of screw drivers and two sizes of socket / spanner.

Cost for this service is £65.00 including new cable & recorded delivery postage (no VAT payable). Please e-mail for full details.
