Just a quick question, do you guys declare these to the insurers? Surely they are classed as an engine mod & push up the premium?

Mine if fitted in the gap between the fuse box and the other box near it - slips in sideways neatly.

Right, Told my Insurance company today about the mod (Co Operative insurance) and it raised my premium from £700 to over £2000! I told them that i was thinking about adding it. Just waiting on Adrian Flux getting back to me with their quotes because that is shocking.

My old insurance co (swift) insured my old freelander with the synergy fitted, but when i replaced with my new freelander they wont insure it??

Hi,
My mechanic is trying to fit a Synergy 2a plus a Pierburg MAF 7.22684.07.0, but he says that the MAF is 10mm to tall for the airbox, did you have to do some modifications?
