Any clues? I have the chance to buy new swivels for a series 1 cheap. Do these fit series2/3 as well?

Depends what you mean by "Swivels" From memory the swivels housing (the big chrome dome bit)(539741) is the same but the arms, top & bottom bearings and other ancillary & internal bits can differ.

95% sure, but probably best to wait for a 2nd opinion before parting with your money!

check up part numbers on paddocks . but i think yule find they are the same. at some point they changed the arms to facics... fasillytate moving the track rod from below to above the axle, or was it friom above to below

Moved it from above to below Mr Slob. Its a job I have got to do to my S3 and to be honest im not looking forward to it.
