hi all, just noticed today my swivel ball on drivers side is leaking, done a search but cant find anything on how to swap em.......is it a haynes manual job or does anyone know of an online guide?

yep buster's photo guide is very good, just done the job at weekend, main swivel seal and swivel bearings because i had shattered bottom swivel bearings and there was play in the swivel which caused the leak, if you need any advice please feel free to ask. :)

You might try draining the oil out of the swivel housing and replacing it with one shot grease. If the leak isn't too bad it might cure it.

Make sure it isn't brake fluid. If it is swivel oil it's quite a bad leak if it's making it onto the tyre usually it just oozes around the swivel housing itself. Worth a try with the one shot though it cured quite a bad leak on my 110.

you got me thinking now, it could be brake fluid as ive swapped the clutch master cylinder again today as the one i got was faulty lol. maybe a bit has got down to the tyre. it looks reasonably clean round the swivel.
