Hi All,
Just a quick feedback. I changed the front shocks (well the garage did;-)) incl. the anti-rollbar and the top strut. The shocks are the Sachs Super Touring, anti-rollbar from Delphi and the Top strut from Mapco. Way better, but still when I am going over ramps or anything similar, even very slow there is some noise like crumple/crease. I took a video, hope the sound comes through. Could this be that the coil springs are damaged as well or some bushes would need to be changed? The garage said the suspension would be ok before, but still.. Anyone an idea what else could it be?

I've had a similar issue and it's the bush and rubber snubber on the rear of the front suspension arm (the one in an aluminium housing)
You can test this by putting the car on a ramp and pushing the car up and down and listening at that bush. Then slacken the nut and test again and see if the noise disappears

, had something like that in mind. Which parts did you use?
Would you describe the noise as a metalic click? Can you hear it turning on full lock and accelerating and decelerating?
Can you hear it front or rear?
Only just seen this thread, I immediately thought of cracked chassis around rear subframe.
The rear subframe is held on by 4 bolts onto the car. They have a habbit of cracking where the captive nut is in the box section. If you can get a bar between the car and the front drivers side bolt of the rear subframe and see if it's making a noise
When it cracks it will make the back end flex a little causing the car to not feel so tight

I haven't fixed mine as its a second car and now does about 200 miles a month so it's not a priority to spend money on it anymore!
No, on my one it sounds more like if you would squeeze some rubber or so together and then it expands again. I had a look around and found that there different kinds of bushes as far as i understand, polybushes and 'normal' ones. What'd be best to use. Yet i couldn't find the one you described. Guess i must lift it bit to see better, will do tomorrow. Here is a link to polybush, where they describe them:

Polybush type last longer and hold the bits in it place better

That's the bush which is squeaking on mine where a rubber coated washer is bolted up to it.
Ok. I think i found it. It's the rear one of the wisbone.

Guess the lower wisbone ball joint has also seen better times:

If I those, maybe both, I think it might be good to get also the bolts for it as the old ones are rusty or will they come with the parts?
PS just talked to the garage and they are calling 1.9hrs to fix only the rear wisbone bushes. Seems a bit to much or am I wrong? Looked if there would be three bolts to work on.

That one it is definitely not on my one. Got it changed yesterday, but still is problem there, much better stearing though. Garage said the whole wisbone would need change for that even he said the front bush would it very likely be, but is completely rusty and take of the bush would be a pain. Will add foto of the wisbone later.
