Hi

pipe size on the reservoir valve block with be 6mm , fittings are M10 x 1.0 metric pitch

indeed done the same with replacing all the old Voss connectors with the brass push fits , they have a rating of 80 bar so well exceeding required pressure limits

try some PTFE on the threads of the fittings as that will help reduce air leaks , only need a few wraps as alas if too much is out on it will then expand the fitting and can cause it to split

hope that helps

I finally found the 1.0mm size on advancedfactors site after id been on the disco3 forum, I also ordered another fitting kit for the compressor from Powerful UK ( all the bolts, captive nuts etc ) that has turned up today so I am going to pull the new compressor out and replace the compressor mount fixings etc.

I'll get there shortly, thanks for the replies all. Top gents!

Little update:

Had a mess tonight lightly with the computer plugged in, I am absolutely certain now the res in front of the compressor I changed I have not plugged it in properly. The car is venting from the exhaust once switched off like it is supposed to so in my mind it has to be the reservoir. Hopefully we get a few hours nice weather so I can get back underneath the thing.

Cheers all.

Updated: now resolved.

The reservoir had electrically failed. I replaced it with a genuine LR item and it is now all functioning as should be.

Whilst I was under there I had the opportunity to disconnect all electrical leads and pipework to see what the vehicle would do in various states of failure.

I referenced the codes against the “ diagnosis and testing vehicle dynamic suspension “ PDF for comparison. I am so glad I have an
Understanding of the D3 else it would have cost me 000’s with the amount of work I have put into down the years.

Have a great Sunday all.
