No doubt this has mentioned previously. I have been occasionally getting an amber warning lght coming up with a script of Normal Height Suspension only (or similar to that). It may not appear for a few days and then will pop up as I am driving along. The suspension when the light is not on is fine. It changes height to all setting fine. My local Landy "specialist" says the cyclider may need replacing. I am not too sure. If the fault was consistent then maybe. I do not want to part with nearly £500 if it is not required.

When this fault first appeared my alternator packed up. Not sure if this can be atributed to that or not.

The only other thing I have noticed is that the engine seems to be idling noisier than normal or it might just be getting paranoid.

Anyway any advise would be welcome.

In my opinion your car needs to be connected to a proper diagnostic machine that will read the fault codes from all the various electronic systems - otherwise it'll be just guesswork. You NEED to see the printout from this diagnostic session so you can post the results on here.

You need to find an LR specialist or dealer that has the right LR-dedicated diagnostic kit.

As above, it needs diagnostics, buy yourself a Nanocom.
Fixing air suspension problems by guess work and chucking parts at it suits garages as it increases the profits.
