I'm hoping to buy a Discovery 4 shortly. This is probably a silly question but I noticed that on one of the cars I'm looking at, the air suspension warning light is illuminated in the same colour as all the other displays in between the P for Park and 0 mph. Does this mean there is some fault with the air suspension or does it just mean someone has selected the higher than normal height shortly after starting up the car? Am I right in thinking that when you normally start up a Discovery 4, this section between the P and 0 mph should be blank and free of any air suspension warning? I've attached a photo of the illuminated light.

Lastly, am I right in thinking that the Discovery 4 doesn't have a rev limiter when idling so it should be possible to rev it freely when stationary in Park?

Many thanks for your help

I assume thats an up arrow in the middle of the symbol? have you tried the height switch and seen what happens?

I have a D4 at my disposal at the moment, my experience with them is that if it is a warning on the dash then it would be in Amber or red, along with a message telling you what the problem is.

That symbol looks like off road height selected, or a different drive mode selected, not 100% but will check in an hour or two when I get in it, if I don't reply within say 3 hours then, it is as I have described above.
