Does she sink if left for a while?

'Tis all about volume with the compressor etc etc

Maybe the Air compressor Piston ring is tired.

Mine rises in under 10 seconds ;)

Nope! No sinking. She'll stay put for weeks. The compressor seal was done around 2yrs ago and I also fitted a new barrel. o_O

Yes the bit with the little white balls in, they can start to degrade over time and the white powder then finds its way in the the valve block and the rest of the system.

Edit
looks like you have already checked then.

Looking at the balls it is not always obvious that they have started shedding powder. Until it gums up the valve block.

It tends to accumulate in the valve block rather than the pipes which have a very smooth interior:eek:

Rather than excising the valve block, I could simply undo the can for the balls and invert it to see what's at the bottom I suppose...

Checked absolutely everything and was left with only the motor and as it happens, it let me down (literally and figuratively )mat the weekend.

I found my spare motor that had been changed because it rattled, popped it in and then had hilarity with my laptop. EAS unlock couldn't find a working port

Gave up for the evening and went in. Next morning I tried the Windows 10 and it was doing it's stupidity with TX and no RX o_O

....until that is, I decided to try another port! Lo and behold, port 6 is the one that works, port 1 is a red herring (and a complete bastard ).

Tap tap tap, she was back on her feet in no time.

Got a new liner and seal kit because the piston had managed to score holy shit out of the liner allowing all manner of nonsense o_O

Motor all rebuilt and is waiting in the car as a spare until the spare decides to be a plank ;)

Meanwhile, my up speed has improved dramatically and she feels reliable once more....although I think I may need to replace the sensors because no matter how many bits I adjust the height, she dances. Not a lot, but I can see it at lights looking at the car in front as tiny portions of it's bumper disappear and reappear

The hilarity never stops

Hi all nobody has mentioned the exhaust valve in the valve block
Take the silencer out if air is coming out all time fit a new one

Valve block was serviced last year and new seals inserted.

One thing she doesn't do is fall down overnight or even if left for a week . I tend to leave her at full height to prevent wrinkles in the airbags.

The little dance when you release brake at the traffic lights is normal, the EAS is locked while the brakes are applied, so will level when you release the brake.

That makes me feel better.

The rise is tiny and not all the time....

I just wondered if it was normal.

Thanks
