Hi all my 99 es is sitting lower on the drivers side front and back.the front shock is the problem I think ? would this cause the back to sit an inch or so so lower.I have oil leaking on the inside of my back offside wheel its leaking at the back of the disc I will take it apart the weekend and have look does it sound like a new hub or could it be a seal.i am wading through problem after problem but im learning as I go so mot all bad. After sorting this got leaking sunroofs and front screen to deal with got a de humidifier inside at the moment as its soaked under the carpets very little rust which was a relief.any help would be grateful.

I dout it's your shock that's causing it to lean your shock cushions bumps it doesn't (to my knowlage) support the car upright. They may need changing as they are worn. But I'd be looking at saggy springs

I had a leaking hub just around the disk. And as I was advised by guys here new was bought and fitted as no seals can be replaced. Read my first post or one of the many one here for part numbers ect.
Who told you hubs have no seals to replace? They are wrong, it will be the rear hub seal that's gone probably because the bearings are worn and is moving about a bit,

or the axle inner hub seal is passing oil because the breathers are blocked and it is heating up and pressurising the axle and pushing oil past the inner axle seal and then into the hub, which then dilutes any hub grease into sloppy grease/oil and out past the rear hub seal.

Who told you you couldn't replace the 4 quid seal back there?

Top whack for the op is going to be two bearings, hub locking washer and rear hub seal around 20-25 quid UK prices for branded oem parts and an hour or so dicking about to swap it all over.

OP has a D2, Rear bearing/hub is a sealed unit inc the ABS ring and sensor, same as the front. If it's that that's leaking grease then the whole thing needs to be replaced. Not cheap.

More than likely though, it's oil coming past the hub O-ring for the reasons stated. Cheap part and easily replaced.

My Bad sorry

Hi,Thanks for the help.It has had a shunt on the front drivers side, fog light surround is missing and plastic liner inside the wing is missing.Looks ok nothing is bent or creased.

The suspension issue, would the front drivers side spring being limp cause the back end to be lower.Or would it be a height adjuster sensor thingy arm be knackered. There is no leaks on the bags.
