Hi all, I'm after some information I have a Hawkeye total diagnostic unit and would like to reset the suspension on my 2003 L322 range Rover. I have the air suspension inactive message on the dash, I have been told that I need a J1962 cable and a red adapter BA5078, can anyone please tell me if I need both or will the dongle give me access to the suspension settings on my Hawkeye. Sorry meant to mention my car is an auto 4.4 petrol.
Many thanks for any help with this
Regards Jon

If you don't have the correct lead you can not access the air suspension and there no available any more.
Better buying an eas kicker or go the whole hog bite the bullet and buy a gap Id tool which will do everything.

Hi mate, if you are going to use the car get the icarsoft code reader 2nd hand and carry it with you, you will need it !
Have you sorted why the suspension is inactive yet ?

As far as I know the suspension needs reset as I did work on the front end, arms bushes etc so I think it's lost it's setting.

A kicker will reset soft faults. A hard fault will need sorting before it will reset, possibly requiring diagnostics. You’d need diagnostic in order to recalibrate.

No idea what a Hawkeye will do let us know if you find out.
On P38 their function is limited. With a diesel they are pretty useless but can do some things on petrol. No idea if this includes EAS I’d hazard a guess at no due to the fact I’ve never heard of people looking to borrow or buy one for EAS purposes. RSW solutions is a preferred EAS specific kit if your Hawkeye can handle everything else.
