Ok, got it plugged in and it says front left height sensor fault.

Now where would I find the height sensor? Lol

Jacked up the left side by the body jacking point and it keeps coming up with that fault.

If you look at the wheel hub, there is a lower arm that goes back to the chassis, on here is a small rod that connects to this lower arm, and the top of the rod connectes to a plastic arm, this plastic arm is connected to the height sensor mounted on a bracket on the subframe.

This is the lower arm and the small rod...

And this is what the sensor looks like

Ok, have unplugged and plugged in again and still the same. Doesn’t show the fault when stationary and off the jack.

Front left voltage 15.56 (all of the others are 2-4)

Reservoir pressure 11.57 bar

Front left bellows valve off

So am I looking at replacing the sensor?

Is there any way of testing the sensor?

Just want it sorted, that's why I need to know if there is any way I can test the sensor.

Ive posted the diagnostic info earlier in the thread so hopefully someone can give me an idea where to look!

Don’t trust him now. Would rather do it myself.
If he has screwed it up and it is something expensive( more expensive than normal L322 expensive) , in the end, legally you stand better if you have given him the chance to fix it. He may say , not his fault, when you phone him. At least, legally, you'll be in the right.

Or you could tell him you are taking it elsewhere to be looked at, and are holding him responsible, if it comes back as something he did, and expect him to pay for repairs.

Ok, thanks for the advice about the mechanic, but as stated I would rather get this sorted myself.

So please could we keep the replies about the problem in hand as im trying to get this sorted.

Thanks :)

As far as I'm aware the test is diagnostics. If they say it's f'd, it's f'd . If youve followed advice from the gurus and still no joy then it looks like new sensor time.
Im not aware of anyone removing a sensor and testing the insides

Comments ref the mechanic ARE trying to help you "get this sorted". Ignore them at your peril. Advice given is 99.9% from personal experience, of those giving their time ,for free, in an attempt to help you.It could turn out expensive, to ignore it. There are few cheap shortcuts on the L322!

Oh, I know, I am grateful for the advice, I just don't want to involve the mechanic as I doubt I could hold my temper right now!

I might have to replace the sensor and see what happens|

Now its just locating one on a weekend :(

I'm being really lazy here, which sensor is it again? I ask because one of them is more expensive.
