Suspension pressure?

Hi, I have just recond my Hitachi pump including piston ring and none return valve + all O rings and new dryer but the pressure is only getting to 2.2bar straight into a gauge then after a short time the motor starts to stall. This is on the bench with a fully charged battery.
Checked the motor for resistance and all good.
Any ideas ?

2.2 bar sounds low, what car are we talking about, hitachi could be disco 3, RR sport or l322 and newer
from what i have read you change the piston and cylinder

That's 32psi, or about the same in your car tyres

what repair kit did you buy?
was it a ebay piston ring,
i tried three of them and they were utterly useless,
and some were from 4x4 specialists,
bag pipin andy does the original kit, ebay / and youtube has step by step tutorial.
i went for a new cylinder and ring in the end,
its perfect and makes an easy 11.6 bar pressure as seen on foxwell scanner on my rr

Hi thanks for the reply but it looks like i was using a dodgy gauge.

Hi it was from ebay but it looks like its working ok now. I was using a dodgy gauge.

I see you use a foxwell scanner. which one have you got? and will it reset the suspension ecu?

hi it is a nt 530, it can reset eas..i had better results with that in conjunction with the inpa download.
