gstuart many thanks to you too,
I will also do these checks hoping to reach a positive solution,
the photo of the front height sensor connectors is excellent, but do you know where the C0377/C0391 connector for the rear sensors is ?

Ur so very welcome , managed to find the picture for u, plus best to use some electrical spray to ensure it’s all clean

Indeed need to start from the fuses to ensure power is coming out of them and onto the relavent wires , connector’s etc

Plus 1 what @sierrafery has mentioned as if the system is locked out the light on the height switch will be out, if there no light it means the system has hard locked therefore disabling the system to protect itself , so need to reset the codes, then not rescan them as u don’t want them coming back and possibly locking the system out

A test light is also very useful as it puts the system under load

Hope that also helps u

As long as you have those permannent U codes you are checking sensor issues in vain, all the C codes are the result of those communication errors IMO...let's hope i'm wrong

Hi mate

Great point as I remember someone else was having an issue but he didn’t realise the light had gone out on the height sensor switch where it had hard locked itself so wasn’t getting the proper readings

Also a chart showing what the compressor should be producing pressure wise, tested via live data , this is very handy as can also see the pressure sensor supply, motor temperature etc via diagnostics

Know it’s easy to skip but plse start from the fuses and don’t be tempted to skip a step, as in going through wire by wire, connectors etc in ensuring power is going from one to another

Live data is extremely useful as well in combination with a multimeter , test light

Hope that also helps

I checked the position of the front sensor connectors and the compressor power supply, but I found nothing under the front wheel arches, how is this possible?

Hi

Hope the above information was helpful to u as it then lets us know if it helps or not

Assume u disconnected the large earth cable and wasn’t like that , also wonder if the connections are behind the headlight

Also the other circled wire I wonder if one wire is broken and if the the other one on ur passenger side if that’s ur connections
Easy to follow back from the front valve block and height sensors etc

Would also be interesting if the light is shown on the centre console where the suspension height lever is

Hope this is also useful to u

So, as far as the large earth cable I unplugged it to clean it, for other circled wire luckily it's not a broken cable but pine needles...
instead regarding the 3 connectors, there are only 2 and they could be those but the one for the power supply to the compressor is missing,
I'm attaching another photo of a connector that is behind the left headlight but has different cable colors, could it be the one for the compressor ?

You said the compressor kicked in with bridged relay so i doubt that it's connector is missing... though i'll say it for the last time that you are working in vain by chasing compressor or sensor connectors while you have current U codes logged

I said that the connector is not there next to the other two as in the photo, but surely somewhere it will be....
so in your opinion, what would be the cause to solve the U codes problems ?

It's in the attachment with the diagnostics i posted that's why i said that you can't fix it yourself without knowing exactly how the system works and how to properly troubleshoot it... and you need a dedicated diagnostic tool to retrieve the exact codes not a generic one... the dynamic suspension is disabled due to those network communication issues and it will not operate as long as the U codes are current... it's a job for a specialist who has experience with CAN-bus LRs
