The dump can be a bit funny with trailers and vans yeah. I dare you to turn up with there with the 19J! Luckily with that place you've got the weighting bit too as all the councils in the area and everyone else takes their crap there.

Thats useful to know, thanks. Hey you'll get know chauvinist comments from me! I don't doubt for one minute your as capable as any man offroading. Unfortunately circumstances wont let me do that, My wife wouldn't be able to stand the serious stuff, I could of course go on my own, but being the way she is, she can't get around without me, and it'll get her out of the house and she'll get to see some of the country thats only availiable to 4x4's. :)

It's my dad's fault! I'm a petrolhead because of him! It's good your wife likes going out in the motor, some of the bods on here have their other halves standing behind the doors with the rolling pins!

She'll be the one left hammering the transfer box into Low range while the lights go from red...to green...and back... and again.... and once for luck ;)
 
Anyone seen what the notices say on the lanes just off the A3 Hindhead area? As I drove home last night, I saw them but couldn't stop to read them. They were stuck on the posts which tell you what the lane can be used for.

I hope they arnt being closed!!
 
A lot of the lanes around Hindhead are being repaired, hopefully that is all the signs are for. One lane had got very bad and needed sorting out.
 
Managed to have a look the other day. Tree chopping and engineering. If I remember It closed on 22nd September till 4 October. Will have a look what they have done when I'm back from my holiday.
 
OK, cheers mate that would be good to know. Got to plan a route soon for a days laning for the Hertfordshire guys that want to come down.
 
I might head out to the lanes around Hindhead, saturday afternoon/evening if anyones interetsted. I need to check if they have been reopened again since their closure. Will have a look on the way home tomorrow night.

Will probably just go for an hour or so.
 
Would have been up for a run over that way, but i'm down to go to a 2 day pay and play this weekend with the Burnham Offroaders Club at Roundhill Woods, Tring. 2 days off roading, camp over night, club membership and lots of competitions all for £40, check out the club site.
