Does anyone know if the chalk hill has been re-opened or when it is due to be re-opened. Walked down it about a month ago and it looked like all the repair work had been completed.

Having a clearout, and free to anyone who wants to collect it from Ripley, If I could be arsed to post it I would have sold it on E Bay, so no posting.. :p

Pair of wingtop chequer plates for a defender, Brand new Satin Silver, Very Nice.

Original LR 90 Tub rubber mat, fair condition, couple of small tears.

4L Nato Green Paint, unopened.

2 Heavy Duty Front floor mats, for defender with R380 Gearbox.

More random stuff might appear later :rolleyes:
 
At the risk of getting murdered I'll ask her in a minute, when could the chequer plate be collected as tomorrow driving from north london to somerset in a megane saloon. if it would fit which is dubious

I'm sure you will manage it :D I'll only be in Ripley for a couple hours in the morning, say 9am -11am, but I can leave them for you to collect anytime during the day, PM me your number if you want them.

Could also collect from Richmond upon Thames, although I'm not sure that will be easier. (that applies for al the stuff)

Yea that's a bit greedy :p, but easier for me if one person takes it all :) So did you want me to leave it with the farmer for collection whenever ?

Yes please, Ripley, Woking, Surrey-looks about hour away from where I am In herts at the moment then back to somerset

If the chap doesn't mind that would be great.
I'm not sure on time-so if it would cause any inconvenience could place it somewhere not too obvious and pm me
 
Hi Booger, parts are in for Medusa's 90 so should have that done this weekend as long as mark is able to collect the bits for me tomorrow. Then we'll be OK to get your one in next mate, CHEERS.

keep us updated on the disco with 35's on im interested to hear what you think to the overall gearing high range and low range. My ratios are really getting on my tits. I fitted 205's last week and the gearing was spot on as it should be disco transfer box 200tdi etc so im really wanting to get the ratio's back right again. Which means diff change/axle swap. Still looking for a salisbury back axle with bolt on disk brake brackets so I can get my 4.7 defender rear axle on. Asap.
 
Hi Jai, the gear ratios are better than when i had the 265 75 16, it used to be a bit funny between 2nd and 3rd, at some speeds 2nd would feel to low but 3rd would feel to high. The range now feels good, only down side is the power loss, does feel a bit like your pulling a trailer most of the time. Got a few things to change that will boost the power, but won't effect the reliability. Not keen on turning the turbo and fueling up causes too much damage to the engine, will just do a few mods to make it breath better, high flow air filter and middle exhaust box removal pipe will probably do it.
 
kris i got me a rangey V8 ^^

need to iron out a few little things but i am chuffed to bits - its a bit choppy on idle, but engine is smooth as, and the tailgate needs adjusting, and i will fiddle about with the exhaust to make it sound a bit more grumbly also

love it - always wanted a V8

Nice one on the Rangie Carpy, but where are the pics ? And don't use the old it's dark excuse.... :p
 
I'm up for doing something this weekend, was something happening but i think that has fallen through now.

Cheers mate. Got some work to complete this weekend, but should still have time to get out and do a bit of laning on Saturday.
