Offered the guy some help, will be his choice.
Shame that some great electricians and engineeers have no people skills.
A great product can be a failure due to poor people skills, failure to connect customer with feature and benefit.

We will see

Is that a posh way of saying he was a Cock:D:D

Me posh, never.
I'm just offering the chance to this chap, a new start.
One thing this chap has not realized is we have not once criticized the product.
If he had said he had a new product xyz and the process of manufacture was xyz and wanted suggestions marketing it. I think he would have got a better response.

so you fit a smaller pulley thus increasing the boost without touching the mapping - not great advice there

also what about the increase in wear to the belt?

why not attach a multiple drive pulley ( from one of them new fangled gearboxes ) that could vary the boost as required. i read about em recently

kinda like how a pedastel (press??) drill works where you can alter the belt on the pulleys to choose different speeds?

or better still just get a faster car???

See if I were to offer this I would
1) Explain the process of development ie. your not going to overstress the supercharger and a dyno run of performance and fueling. Production methods
2)Offer free sample to several magazines to test (exposure)
3)Deal with rejection by before it occurs by fully explaining feature and benefit.
4)warranty and fitting

To me this chap came along with an expensive lump of alu and didn't do any of the above

i think if he showed it off(obviously getting it patented if poss) on a working vehicle with plenty of documantation of the before and after fitting then he might just be in with a chance, bounding it round a forum probably isnt the best way to get the project to the marketplace!!
