If you need a ground anchor then you're planning on getting stuck, which is something you really shouldn't be doing on a green lane.

If the lane is that wet then you should consider not driving it. There's a lot of ammunition being gathered by the antis right now - check out the Greenlaning thread and the GLASS page on Facebook......

OP, you shouldn't be getting stuck on green lanes, they are public roads. If in doubt, walk it first, and don't drive it if you will get stuck, or cause damage to the surface.
