Swapped out starter today - bolts bloomin tight - couldn't shift them with a 3/8" setup - ended up making a 'special' from a 8mm allen bit & 5" extension to get the top one, turned down the business end to get better access around the engine mount (mine measured prob could do with being 2mm longer) - 1/2" ratchet assembled onto it once I got it located into the bolt.

Unfortunately - the new starter appears to be dud - spins fine when shorted but the solenoid aint doing anything by way of a click..... 12.5v at main terminal, 12.5v coming in to solenoid connection when key turned - anything else i'm missing before taking it off and sending it back?
