I can't be sure about the diameter, you'll have to measure that yourself, but from what I can see, they're about 6 1/4 or 6 1/2 inches diameter. They're 4 ohms and rated at 30 or 40 watts.
Take a look at Maplins to see if they have anything suitable.
I have heard one or two members say that these speakers are quite good:-

I believe that your Disco has the sub amplifier built into the rear door unit, unlike my Disco 2 which has the hi-line ICE so it has the sub amp under the passenger's seat.
As for the plastic mountings, I've no idea other than checking out a local vehicle breakers or getting a bit handy with some plywood.

Running the Thiele Small Parameters of those Monacor speakers show they are completely inadequate for use as.
A: a sub woofer
B: for small enclosures.
To produce a low frequency of 25 Hz, they need an enclosure of over 200 Ltrs, and that's each!!

These speakers would be far better for the task and cheaper too.

@Nodge68. Thank you for your input, I do understand Thiele Small Parameters, but being unsure whether they would be of any valid use to the OP on this occasion I did not sit down to run the figures.
The figures I quoted were from various places all of which showed that the speaker mounted in the rear tailgate dooor are 4 ohms each and rated at 30 to 40 watts (nominally 35 watts). My suggestion for a pair of replacements was based upon what I had read here on the forum, otherwise I wouldn't have made a note of the website address.
The low frequency amplifier on the D1, particularly in this case is built into the speaker mounting system in the rear tailgate and is not some large aftermarket hi-fi boom box.
The speakers you suggested will probably work even though at 8 ohms each they are a mismatched impedance and probably more suitable for the fixed type market rather than the vehicle applications.
What the OP is trying to do is just replace the speakers in a mobile tin box and not in an audio theatre, but I'm sure he will bear in mind both yours and my suggestions in making his final decision.

My vehicle is a Defender, so not the same problem. However, I have fitted my car with an new Alpine system, which I believe to be good value. One of the main component parts is the Alpine under seat subwoofer, which I find excellent.

I'm retired so may well have different musical tastes to you. But I do like to have a music system which will allow me to hear the individual parts. I have played the guitar for most of my life and like to think that I have a good ear. The Alpine under seat subwoofer gives me a good range of base, and the system allows me to refine the levels well to my satisfaction. It's a good unit to have and well worth considering.

Thanks to you chaps,Iv'e decided to replace the rubber ring on my original speakers with thease http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2Pcs-6-5-...K:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649,also done some repares to the surround.
