Bidding on a VW Passat estate, that's local to me. Ends tomorrow teatime. Fingers crossed.
Bugger went for £10 more than I'd bid

Nowt wrong with that, I bet it still feels like a Bentley after getting out of a Land Rover
FFS back in the Market for another van Due to the doblo been a nogo.. fecking thing won't turn over. thought it was starter. But removed that and it's working fine. Not battery cos we tried it on another vehicle and it started that fine. only thing we could think of is that the new clutch has seized up or it froze over xmas and summat's fecked in it. So have got me money back.
they tried bumping it off and wheels locked except in 5th. but it is loose ground & wet concrete was turning over just really slowly and you could hear summat grinding.
Not my problem anymore as I've got the cash back. seriously thinking of selling 110 and putting whatever I get towards the £1500cash I have, & getting summat newer.
Whats a 1996 110 with a fooked chassis & straight body good engine & drive train etc, worth. ????
How long do you need it for? Could get away with buying a disco with a few months MOT and then scrapping/breaking it when you've finished with it?
Can't you spend the £500 on welding the chassis up instead?
You can't weld to something that isn't there.
As it happens I have been given a noo (old) Motor by one of me many Female Admirers.
Tis an S reg 1.3 Fiesta Finesse she's even paid for MOT & welding work that needed doing on sills. :clap2: 75k on the clock one careful owner, farmers elderly mother only got rid cos she's too old to drive it anymore.
