As it says above this is probably a stupid question but here goes.....
My friend has just bought a freelander TD4. He came over last night and let me drive it.
Apart from the obvious differences to my 1999 Di re performance etc the thing I really noticed was the noise of the turbo whistling under accelleration.
I never hear mine whistle - is this just a characteristic of the TD4 or is it just that the Di is so noisy you cant hear it ???
