they[slrs] where better than the plastic **** they give then now,in my opinion.perhaps they[the powers that be who wouldnt know one end from another]think they are too heavy for our lads to carry.if ide run out of ammo i know which one ide want in my hands to brain an enemy.there i feel better now, monday morning rant over, back to decorating the kitchen:yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn:

Yeah if you hit something with a 7.62 it stayed hit. You could not hide behind a block wall and be safe from one of those.

Ok thanks will do. I am sure I need to re sync as both key fobs lock and unlock the car. and it cranks without firing and no messages on the dash. I do have a constant fault on my BBS FCR which says immobiliser link fault- too high. Does that all sound like a re sync?

My lad being pretty well built and the best shot in the regiment used to carry the heavy machine gun when on patrol in NI. Never got the chance to use it on a real target as none of the buggers ever showed up when he had live ammo.

Either a re-sync or no fuel getting through. Re-sync sounds most likely from your FCR message.

Had the RAC out yesterday. He said the fuel pump was ok just immobilised before he flattened the battery and just left saying they could do nothing!
I have found this forum to be of more use and thinking re sync may be the way ahead.
May have to drive to Bell auto services at York tomorrow to buy a re sync tool.

I had a PM but I wasn't sure where I was supposed to look:confused:

I seem to have the old type or RF receiver so now I have disconnected the blue wire. Just concerned that once it is running it will leave me stranded somewhere !
