hi guys had an starting issue with the RR for a while as i've posted about previously. and over the last week after driving i have had a very strong smell of fuel under the bonnet, anyway took into my local garage last week and they checked everything, and found no fuel leaks but the small was still evident. the car has LPG fitted too, so yesterday i pulled the fuse on the LPG system and took the car for a run on petrol. anyway still had a fuel smell when warm.
next stage this morning i disconnected the electrical connector to the fuel vapour valve (
WTV000040) and bingo no fuel smell, so it's either the valve or the pipe from the valve to the throttle body. is there anyway to test the valve?
