FREE - except for postage

From the job that I've just left I have a acquired a load of straps.

About fifty of them are just over an inch wide, three and a half feet long and have a metal, cammed buckle. I liberated these thinking that they would be handy for 'something'. Well the only thing that I can think of is holding items in the back of a van or Land Rover. I suppose if you needed them longer you could daisy chain them. These were used to strap expensive powered wheelchairs onto pallets for transport so they're strong and the buckle type means that the more you pull the tighter it gets.

Another twenty straps are slightly wider and velcro. These has a full width flat metal loop at one end so you wrap the strap round whatever then through the loop and back on itself onto the velcro. These are used to hold batteries down in scooters and wheelchairs and will take 20 stone. (That's me hanging from a rafter in the garage!)

If either of these are of any use PM me and I'll send some out. I won't send loads to one person because I don't want to see them on ebay the next week. I'll include paypal details and all that I want is the postage back. If you want to pay for the packing as well I won't complain.

Pics? Need some decent straps to hold stuff in my trailer

Pics! Pics?

If I could do bleedin pics I'd get a job in I.T.

Seriously though, they're only 3 feet long and buckle or velcro back onto themselves so one might wrap round a jerry can but not anything much bigger.

If you're talking about holding loads down I couldn't recommend them.
